The two sides of the master bathroom shower door wall were also put in today. We decided upon a frameless glass wall with a single center door. The door will be added in a few days, once the sides have a chance to adhere appropriately. And the bathroom vanity was also finished up by our builder (and fantastic carpenter) Scott. Since the vanities came from Ikea, and we did not also purchase the sinks made to accompany them, there was some necessary retro-fitting that needed to be done in order to allow for the typical plumbing under the sinks. Scott cut down and cut out the top drawers, making room for the pipes and keeping the majority of the storage space intact. We couldn't have asked for anything better.
And, last but not least, the mantle was finally installed today and the stonework on the fireplace is now complete. It looks really fantastic. We can't wait for our first roaring fire.
Sink in the laundry room (that counter top is from Mom & Dad's - what they had in their kitchen before they put in the granite counters)
One over laundry stack cabinet - perfect for storing things like lightbulbs
