Mantel, Mantel on the Wall

More stonework today on the interior. The fireplace is coming along nicely. They won't be able to finish it until we determine what type of mantel we'll be installing. We are thinking of a solid plank of some kind of wood - maybe walnut like our coffee table or maybe pine or hemlock like the interior doors will be. We're waiting on quotes, so we'll see. The "climbing wall" in the foyer is 98% complete from floor to ceiling but the portion where it wraps the wall into the main living space is yet to be completed.
