Instruction Manuals without Words

Kitchen cabinet assembly week! As you may recall, we purchased all our cabinets from Ikea. While we got a fantastic price, there is the small task of actually assembling all the cabinetry. That job was taken on by Clark who took a few days off work right before the holidays to accomplish this time-consuming job.

The funniest part of assembling these pieces is the instructions - they have no words - just funny line drawings of amorphous humans with tools and then line drawings of the pieces themselves. I guess when you make furniture that is purchased around the world, it would be rather lengthy to include every main language.
