Puzzled Pieces

The chimney stone is finally complete and they've moved around to the front of the house. They are starting with the column to the right of the front door. It's a slow process because they have to pick and choose pieces of stone from each of the two color groups to make an appealing mix - little bit of brown, little bit of grey, small stones, big stones, skinny ones and bulky ones. I think you have to have vision to be able to make it all fit together - it's like a jigsaw puzzle but without a photo to reference.

Standard shot
Check out the cleaned up floors - just in time for mudding and taping
Looks so nice - that was a lot of sweeping
View of the back of the chimney from the master bedroom window
Mason sitting on his scaffolding, waiting for a stone
He catches the stones one (or two) at a time
Door! We have a door between the garage and the house
