Waterproofing (aka Black Tar)

Today, they waterproofed the foundation. We didn't really know what to expect but as it turns out, waterproofing means smearing a black, tar-like substance on the concrete walls in all the places where the foundation will have back-fill against it. The photos don't really show the texture of the wall covering but you can certainly see where it was added!
