With the footings in place, the boards to frame the foundation have begun going up. The walls seem really tall - we're having an 8ft-9ft pour for the basement. The main expanse of the living space will have an 8ft clearance underneath, the rest of the house (foyer and office) will have 9ft. Rebar is in position for the erected forms - the remaining boards will be positioned next week and we hope to have concrete being poured by Tuesday.
